Llandrindod Wells Res travel to Newcastle Clun

This weekend sees Llandrindod go to Newcastle Clun.

Newcastle have always been a tough team to play against, especially when you go to their ground. I spoke to Jason Coles, Llandrindod Wells Reserves manager, ahead of this Mid Wales South Leauge Clash I asked him, “what can you take in to this weekends game from your previous fixture?”.

“We had a tough game against Penybont seeing us behind for most of the match.

We kept battling until the end which saw us get our second win of the season.

We need that fight to go to Newcastle because their team never seems to give up when they are at home.”

Hopefully we can take a lot of positives from the fixture with Penybont and get back to winning ways.

I also spoke to captain, Cori Davies, ahead of this clash.

“In the last game we created a lot of opportunities, could of won by more.

They played with a high tempo for most of the game. We conceded a few sloppy goals but hopefully this coming weekend we can cut out some of these mistakes and get the three points we need to keep climbing up the table.”
