THREE areas Bangor should look to strengthen this January

It’s that time of year again where managers have to make big decisions regarding their team. Who to buy? Where to strengthen?

ForzaBangor identifies the positions that Ian Dawes should look to strengthen in.

STRIKER:
Despite possessing a long list of talented strikers at the club, none of them have been prolific this season so far. It might sound slightly premature, as all players need time to adapt and settle down, however City need a strong prolific striker who can make an impact instantly, if City are to mount a realistic challenge for 2nd and European football.

WINGER:
With Brayden Shaw’s loan inevitably going to end, City must look elsewhere for another winger to replace him once he returns to the Football League. Although without a doubt efforts will be made to extent his stay at the club, it doesn’t hurt to have a shortlist of wingers they could choose from. Ideally they will want a pacey winger who can take on players, posses bags of skill and an eye for goal.
DEFENCE:

Despite having three good CBs at the club, City need a strong CB to partner in form Antony Miley. A strong defence needs a strong vocal centre back, and although a good candidate, Miley just isn’t quite to the standard.

A position that needs strengthening is RB, despite the form of Gary Roberts, a back-up defender is needed to keep him on his toes as well as cover should be suspended or injured.
