Healey signs for Black and Greens
Aberystywth Town have confirmed the signing of prolific goal scorer Lee Healey.
A strong forward known for his direct style of play, 30 year old Healey has played in both the Welsh Premier and feeder leagues, with spells at Bangor City, gap Connah’s Quay, Cefn Druids and most recently Holywell Town.
Healey is the current record holder for the fastest hat-trick from kick off in the Welsh Premier, when he netted three in the 2nd, 4th and 7th minutes against Prestatyn Town upfront for Druids.
Healey joins the club as they fight for the top six, and will be available for their final phase one fixtures against Cefn Druids and Cardiff Met.
Healey is Aberystwyth’s second confirmed signing of the day, with goalkeeper Chris Mullock also arriving at Park Avenue from The New Saints.
