Cogan Coronation in search of new First Team Manager

South Wales Alliance League side Cogan Coronation are looking for a new First Team Manager following the stepping down of manager Lee Williams.

The Vale Division 1 title winner will remain with the club but will take a back seat due to work commitments which means he is unable to commit to managing the first team but will instead become Chairman of the Senior Section after the recent AGM meeting.

Williams who had a thirty year involvement in the club, featuring for the junior side before featuring for the seniors coached the reserve side before taking over the clubs first team following the departure of Gavin Beddard to a Welsh League side.

Cogan who finished second from bottom last season in Division One of the South Wales Alliance will be hoping for a better season next time round after players departed the club following the departure of their former manager.

The club boasts a very strong mini and junior section with this being higlighted of the success of the U16 team who won the Vale League, going the season unbeaten.

The club are ideally looking for someone with a C Licence but it isn’t essential, experience as a coach before would help an applicant in applying for the club. The emphasis will be on integrating the youth into the senior team whilst keeping both sides competitive.

The manager can bring in his own backroom staff or work with the coaches that are in place at the club already.

Any applicants should contact the club at cogancoronationafc@hotmail.co.uk
