Abermule: Gwyn Hamer returns to club to replace Stuart Emberton
Abermule have appointed Gwyn Hamer as their new first-team manager.
He returns to the club after Stuart Emberton opted to stand down as player-manager after taking over from Aaron Leary.
Hamer returns to the club after previous success as a player-manager back in the 1980s.
The six-time Club Player of the Year will work alongside his son Dan after also featuring for the first-team.
Announcing the appointment on their official website, Abermule said: “The club are delighted to announce a new management team.
“We hope this is the start of a successful time for the club and we all wish Gwyn and Dan every success.”
The Mid-Wales League Division Two team are awaiting the outcome of the Tier Three licencing decision which will decide which division they compete in next season.
