Tom Field has today joined gap Connah’s Quay Nomads, despite signing for Bangor City last month as Andy Morrison looks to assemble a side capable of competing with The New Saints for the Welsh Premier League title.

Field who has had experience last season playing in the English leagues for Chorley and Stockport County, had previously played for four seasons with Airbus UK Broughton.

Tom Field has played under current Nomads manager Andy Morrison before, once at Nortwich Victoria in 2009 and then in 2012, when Morrison worked alongside current Airbus UK manager Andy Preece.

Tom has scored twenty five goals from eighty nine Welsh Premier League experiences and has UEFA Europa League experience under his belt.

Manager Andy Morrison spoke to The Nomads official website and has this to say on Field’s arrival.

“I’ve worked with Tom at Airbus and Northwich and I know exactly what he can bring to our squad – on his day, Tom can be as good as any midfielder in the Welsh Premier League. He can score goals as well as create opportunities and it is that creative side that I have felt we have lacked in certain games.” – Andy Morrison on the signing of Tom Field.
