Lakesiders sign a Saint, a Chairboy and a Railwayman
Bala Town have completed the triple signing of Ryan Edwards, Alex Lynch and Tom Quinn in the last few days.
On Thursday, Bala had announced on social media that they had signed 21-year-old goalkeeper Alex Lynch on a permanent deal from English League 2 side Wycombe Wanderers.
Lynch had played previously for Peterborough United, Histon, Stamford and Brackley Town. During his time at Wycombe Wanderers he made first team appearances against Plymouth Argyle in a League 2 Play-Off Semi-Final and an FA Cup 4th Round fixture against then Premier League side Aston Villa. Lynch has also represented Wales at U17 and U19 level.
Also joining Bala is Crewe Alexandra youth academy product Tom Quinn who was released this summer. The English born defender has played numerous times for Crewe’s academy side, featuring in a win against Arsenal’s academy side in the FA Youth Cup.
Ryan Edwards also joined the club earlier today, fresh from his summer release from Welsh Premier League Champions The New Saints. The 22-year-old has played for Connah’s Quay, Cefn Druids and The New Saints in the Welsh Premier League. Last season the Glan Conwy born midfielder registered three goals in seventeen appearances.
