Andy Legg has appointed his assistant manager internally through the club through Damien Allen.
Damien Allen has been at the club since November 2011 in a career that has seen him play for many Northern English teams such as Stockport County, Morecambe, Halifax and Bury.
This is not the first joint role that Allen has been in, when he was a player-coach last season, scoring five goals in thirty one appearances.
Andy Legg had this to say after the appointment, speaking to the official Bangor City club website.
“He’s got great knowledge of both the club and the Dafabet WPL, and his contribution as my assistant will be invaluable.”
“He’s proven himself to be one of the best players in the league and I’m looking forward to working with him as we aim to restore City’s fortunes in the WPL this season.”
