Danny Harrison joins Nomads’ coaching staff
gap Connah’s Quay Nomads announced a new member of their first team coaching staff today in Danny Harrison, as the player transitions into a player-coach role.
Harrison’s new position comes after he originally joined the club in January 2015, going on to become a regular feature in the club’s Welsh Premier League starting eleven.
The Nomads’ announcement follows a contract extension for Harrison in May 2015, which keeps him at the club until the end of this season.
The defensive-midfielder boasts Football League experience as he made 313 games during spells at Tranmere and Rotherham.
Harrison joins a formidable line up of coaches at Deeside alongside Manchester City legend Andy Morrison and club stalwart Jay Catton.
He will continue to play for the club, available for the first time this season against Newtown AFC on Sunday, following a suspension from the
WPL play-off semi finals.
