Mackin departs Lilywhites

Levi Mackin has had his contract mutually terminated by Rhyl due to family and work commitments.

Mackin has played for the Lilywhites since 2014, but left the club yesterday after agreeing to end his contract.

The central midfielder came through Wrexham’s youth academy, and played for the North Wales outfit for six seasons, before departing in 2009 after 73 appearances in all competitions.

He moved to York and Chester, before making his move to the Welsh Premier League in January 2013 with Bangor City.

He joined Conwy Borough in the Huws Gray Alliance for one season, before making the switch to Rhyl.

He made over 50 appearances in his two years with the club, but has now left due to family and work commitments, as Nial McGuiness continues to shape his squad.
