Morgan rejoins Barry

Former Newport County academy product Paul Morgan has rejoined Barry Town United after spending the last few months travelling.

Morgan initially joined Barry Town in 2012 after being released by County. He has made 108 appearances in his four years at the club, and was awarded manager’s young player of the year in the 2013/14 season.

The 22 year-old, who has 93 starts for the club, departed the club at the end of last season to go travelling. However, he has now returned to the club.

His arrival at the club makes it 10 Barry based players in the squad.

“I’m delighted to welcome Paul back into the fold. In each of his four seasons with the club, Paul has improved immensely and developed into an important player for us. Despite his young age, Paul has gained much experience and brings a lot to the squad both on and off the field of play” said manager Gavin Chesterfield.
