Welsh Premier League champions The New Saints inflicted a 10-0 defeat on Niall McGuiness’s young Rhyl side at Park Hall this Sunday afternoon. Carl Darlington’s men scored five goals in each half. Greg Draper replaced Scott Quigley, who was on a brace at the time, to grab an impressive second half hatrick.
TNS academy product Jacob Farleigh had a debut to remember as he scored with a composed strike.
The win means that The New Saints are the only team with a 100% record this season. Incredibly The New Saints have scored seventeen goals in just three games meaning that the champions have scored 41% of the goals scored so far this season.

A last gasp winner through substitute Jonathan Evans was enough to secure the three points for Aberyswyth Town.
Matthew Bishop’s men were looking to build on their away victory last week at Airbus. Their only defeat so far this season has come at The New Saints where they lost by a narrow margin.
The first half of the game saw a limited amount of action, with Llandudno and Aberystwyth creating chances but mostly cancelling each other out in the midfield. An improved second half saw Llandudno emerge the stronger side but they could not manage a goal, having two claims for a penalty waved away.
Aberystwyth’s win continues their positive start to the season, whilst Llandudno are still in search of their first league victory.

Carmarthen managed to get off the mark this weekend with a 2-1 win over Airbus. Mark Jones scored from the spot before striker Tony Gray equalised.
Former Newport County man Kyle Bassett scored the winner seventeen minutes from time.
Cefn Druids and Cardiff Metropolitan University met at TNS’ Park Hall, which staged two games in fourty eight hours.
There were no goals as Cefn Druids continued their time away from ‘The Rock’ but Cardiff Met have yet to score in the top flight so far this season.
Bangor City vs Bala was the live game on Sgorio this weekend. Two first half goals from Damien Allen and former Plymouth Argyle man Daniel Nardiello was enough to give Andy Legg another three points. The manager also told the Sgorio cameras prematch the owners’ intent of making the club professional by next season.

A Michael Wilde goal was enough for Nomads to secure victory in their first home fixture of the season. Both teams went into the game hoping to keep their unbeaten records intact, which was reflected by cagey game play throughout.
Newtown’s Oswell proved ever-tricky on the attack coming close on two occasions, with Nomads missing a great opportunity to go ahead when Callum Morris hit the crossbar from a penalty in the 50th minute.
Following Wilde’s goal from yards out after a cross from Wes Baynes, Nomads dug deep against Newtown to hold out for the win, which extends their amount of time without conceding a goal in the league to 500 minutes.
