Haverfordwest County have completed the signing of Kieran O’Brien from Goodwick United.
A prominent central midfielder who won the treble at Goodwick last season, O’Brien is set to bolster the Pembrokeshire club’s ranks as they seek to build on a solid start to the season.
He becomes the latest addition to an overhauled squad at the Bridge Meadow Stadium, following the majority of last season’s relegated Welsh Premier squad moving on whilst Sean Cresser and Chris O’Sullivan joined the club as joint managers.
It is unlikely O’Brien will take time to settle in, as he joins a number of teammates from Goodwick who have already joined Haverfordwest including Steffan Williams, Rhys Dalling and Ashley Bevan.
O’Brien’s first test will be in the JD Welsh Cup first round on Saturday 1 October, when Haverfordwest travel to face Newport YMCA.
