Aber sign former Wales u21 international

Aberystwyth Town have signed former Wales u21 international Daniel Alfei, following his release from Swansea this summer.
The 22-year-old defender, was recently with Mansfield on loan where he racked up 12 appearances. He has wealth of experience in the football league, having experienced loans spells at Portsmouth, Northampton and as mentioned above, Mansfield Town.
His debut for The Swans came in an FA Cup tie against Colchester where they won 4-0. Alfei’s league debut was against Crystal Palace when he came on in the 88th minute.
Alfei has 13 under-21 caps to his name, scoring 2 goals in the process. He’s also represented Wales at u19 and u17 level.
He wasn’t a part of the Aberyswyth squad that lost 5-1 to The New Saints yesterday, so will be looking to make his debut in the Nathaniel MG Cup tie against Haverfordwest County.
