Huws Gray Cup Preview: Saturday’s action
Following wins for Prestatyn Town and Denbigh in the North Wales feeder league’s premier cup competition, we’ve previewed a host of attractive fixtures thrown up by the competition on Saturday.
Caersws vs Caernarfon (Huws Gray Cup 2:30 kick off)
Caernarfon travel to Caersws in high spirits after last week 5-1 win at Conwy Borough.
The current champions of the Huws Gray Cup will be looking to retain their title, whilst Caersws will be looking for better fortune in this competition after a disappointing Porthmadog dumped them out of the Welsh Cup last week, and enthused by their recent draw to the Canaries in the league.

Conwy Borough vs Porthmadog (Huws Gray Cup 2:30 kick off)
Conwy Borough are on the hunt for a cup run, with new manager Will Ryder looking for his first win as tangerines boss after last week disappointing home defeat to Caernarfon.
Porthmadog go into this game in good form in the league and also in the cup, after beating Caersws 4-0 in the Welsh Cup, as well as the recent scalp of Conwy in their own back yard.

Flint Town United vs Llanfair United (Huws Gray Cup 2:30 kick off)
Last season runners up Flint will be hoping to go one further this season, sitting fourth in the league after a solid start to their Huws Gray Alliance campaign, whilst Llanfair are tenth.
Llanfair United will go into the game in high confidence after a well deserved 2-0 win at Llanidloes Town in the Welsh Cup.The game was given an extra edge during the JD Welsh Cup 2nd round draw, which also pits the two teams together.

Guilsfield vs Gresford (Huws Gray Cup 2:30)
Guilsfield go into this game after a disappointing result in the Nathaniel MG Cup to Newtown.After a mix of results from the season so far, they’ll look to return to winning ways tomorrow .
Gresford make the journey to mid wales on a high of confidence winning five out of their past six, with manager Eddie Maurice Jones named manager of the month for September this week.

Penrhyncoch vs Holywell (Huws Gray Cup 2:30)
Penrhyncoch will be looking to make it three wins on the run tomorrow following two good results in the league at Ruthin Town and in the Welsh Cup midweek replay against FC Nomads of Connah’s Quay.
They will hope another cup victory can kickstart their season, as the roosters are currently third from bottom.
Holywell go to Penrhyncoch after scoring eight last week, and will be hoping they can hit the target in what will be a tough away trip.
