Division One side Taffs Well have moved to sign Pontardawe goalkeeper Wyn Walters. Walters played in a division below his new club before joining.
The experienced keeper has played for Carmarthen Town and defunct side Neath AFC in the top flight and has also had experience in the Welsh Leagues with Llanelli, Haverfordwest County and has also won the Welsh League with Bryntirion Athletic, who are now Pen-y-Bont.
Manager Lee Bridgeman commented on the signing, saying how the club have tracked the players career and are long term admirers of the player.
“We’ve been long term admirers of Wyn, we’re delighted to have him at the Well. His experience will be invaluable to the side.”
He made his debut tonight against Cambrian & Clydach in a 2-1 defeat.
