WPL Preview: Aberystwyth Town vs Rhyl

Aberystwyth return home to Park Avenue on the new 3G pitch tonight for a 7:45 kick off.

After playing 10 league games away from home, they will be looking for a win in their first game at home and look to start winning games again.

Aberystwyth will be expecting Geoff Kellaway, Luke Sherbon, Kuris March, Ricky Watts and Chris Mullock  all to return after missing the cup win at Haverfordwest through injury or unavailability.

Both teams have had differing starts to their seasons, with Aberystwyth in eighth place after a difficult start, with Rhyl fourth after a mid-September run.

Rhyl go into this game on the back of two losses in the league to gap Connah’s Quay Nomads and Cefn Druids, but returned to winning ways last week in the Nathaniel MG Cup against Llandudno FC.

Rhyl are expecting Stefan Halewood to return to the squad but will be without Kristian Pearce who picks up a knock in the Llandudno game.
