Pontypridd Town manager Dominic Broad:
AFC Porth manager Gareth Morgan:
On why AFC Porth are top of the league.
“There’s no secret to the good start we’ve made, it’s just a group of players who aren’t cared of working hard and being committed. We already had Rhodri Morgan, Dom Dwyer and myself but Lee has definitely raised the the bar further.”
On how the team have performed both defensive wise and attacking wise.
The defensive unit have worked damn hard to be fair but really it’s been more of a group effort.
Nathan Doe, Ben Ahmun and Aaron Hughes have been amongst the goals for us this season, with Jason Davies an Tyron Toppar chipping in from midfield. We aren’t really reliant on any one player though which I prefer.
On receiving ‘Manager of the Month’ and ‘Club of the Month for the month of October
“The award is nice but I felt we were more deserving of it when we hadn’t won for sixteen months and quickly turned it around. I think the criteria for it is questionable.
What the guys at West End and Newport City have achieved in recent weeks has been superb, considering the starts they made to the season!
On Tyrone Toppar’s goals coring exploits
Toppar has been excellent but I think there’s more to come from him, he works hard though and has some of wildest stories I’ve ever heard, which the lads all love.
On Friday’s opponents Pontypridd Town
I think Pontypridd will get promoted this season, what Dom Broad has done from where they were when he took over has been incredible, on and off the pitch!
On if anyone misses out on Friday
There’s no injury problems for us other than our captain Stuart Brock who isn’t fit enough to start due to a knee injury but is in good enough condition to be included on the bench.
