Flint Town United goalkeeper Danny McAdam is to leave the club for a coaching role with Liverpool FC’s international academy.
McAdam, who has been at the Huws Gray Alliance club since the age of eight, is set to coach at LFC’s international camps, working with a number of age groups in a general coaching role.
As a international coach for the club, McAdam will work overseas with LFC’s international academies based across the USA, Europe and Asia.
Rising from Flint’s academy and being involved in the club’s community projects, he made two appearances for the first team this season as understudy to Ben Jones.
Asked about his new position, Danny said:
“I’m delighted at having been given this fantastic opportunity to coach in different parts of the world for the club I’ve supported all my life. It’s like a dream come true. And I shall be working with a top drawer team of professional coaches”.
