Llanelli Town have secured the services of young Port Talbot Town goalkeeper Conah McFenton.
McFenton arrives at Steboneath having played for fellow South Wales outfit Port Talbot Town in Division One this term.
Despite being just 20 years old, he is excited at the prospect of playing for the Reds.
I’m very pleased to have signed at Llanelli. I’m looking forward to being part of a great club with great ambitions. It’s a great new challenge that I’m looking forward to!
With current Llanelli shot stopper Craig Morris out injred, McFenton may make his debut on Saturday away to Cwmamman United.
McFenton wasn’t involved on Saturday in the Steelmen’s derby fixture against Afan Lido, with Rory McCreesh seemingly set to be the new number one after McFenton’s departure, with Matthew Stanton his deputy.
