Wrexham manager Dean Keates revealed to the Daily Post that Wrexham had turned down a substantial bid for highly rated youngster Jordan Davies from Bangor City.
Davies had been on loan at the Citizens earlier in the season and impressed Under then manager Andy Legg. However, upon Legg’s departure, the left midfielder was recalled to his parent club.
The 18 year-old impressed whilst on loan at the Welsh Premier League outfit and fans were saddened to see his departure, which only compounded to the loss of former Wales international Legg as manager.
However, it seems new manager Ian Dawes has been rumoured to be welcome to adding the player to his side permanently as they placed a five figure bid for the player, which was rejected by the Conference Premier side.
Davies cannot feature for the Dragons until the new year, however Keates has insisted the youngster is part of his plans.
