The forward who had represented and captained the University of West England’s team, finishing as top scorer for his three years of study in the West of England.
Crowe is no stranger to the Welsh pyramid system, playing for the Newtown’s Under-19s squad, as well as playing for Presteigne in the Mid Wales Leagues, as he studied at college.
Cleave has been as a described as a tall striker with serious pace, making him a valuable asset to Knighton as they look to boost their chances of promotion to the Huws Gray Alliance having applied for the licence.
Knighton Town manager Adam Worton commented on the capture of the striker.
“I’m pleased with the addition of Crowe. He is the sort of player we have been looking for and will add something we have been lacking with his direct running with the ball and his aerial ability is a real bonus.”
Crowe had a successful pre-season for Bishops Cleve, scoring 7 goals in 4 games. He departs Bishop with 2 competitive goals and 2 assists.
