Reed turns to Llandudno
Llandudno have signed Welsh Premier League striker Jamie Reed from Bangor City
Jamie Reed has returned to Llandudno, having only signed for Bangor City in the summer, where he scored 2 goals in 12 appearances. The deal is permanent rather than a loan move, after the Citizens also moved on a number of players out on loan.
His record for Llandudno was impressive, having scored 3 times in 5 games, also featuring in the Seasiders, Europa League fixtures against Goteborg.
With a career total of 305 appearances and 123 goals, Reed adds experience to Llandudno as they look to a former player to give them a chance of a Europa League play-off spot, whether it is through a top six place or finishing as the 7th placed team.
With the recent signings of Michael Higdon, alongside the form of Daniel Nardiello, Reed hasn’t seen as much playing time this season.
Reed commented on his departure from Bangor, a side that he won the Welsh Premier League with before back in 2011.
“A very hard decision but I’ve decided to leave Bangor City, some things just don’t work out. Thanks and all the best!
Made up to be back at Llandudno, with the same project as last season.”
Reed could feature in Llandudno’s crucial final Phase One fixture against Rhyl on Saturday.
