Gresford manager Steve Halliwell has added Liam Walsh and Dom Doherty to his squad, as the side look to continue their charge for a top six finish come the end of the season.
Walsh joins Gresford on loan from Conference Premier outfit Wrexham AFC. The utility man previously spent two years at Swindon Town with their youth team set up before joining Wrexham. Able to play in defence and midfield, the youngster may well have already adapted to the league having spent the first part of the campaign on loan at Prestatyn Town, where he made six appearances.
Doherty was snapped up by Gresford from Welsh Premier League side Airbus UK Broughton. Doherty has risen through the ranks with Airbus, having been with the Airbus Academy before he was promoted to Airbus first team in the summer. The player made his Airbus debut this season and even featured recently against Cardiff Met.
Both players will be hoping to make the squad ahead of this weekend’s test against Guilsfield
