Mold Alexandra have signed the duo of Lee Embertson and Rhys Cooper who join from Holywell and Denbigh respectively.
Lee joined the Wellmen back in the summer of 2014 with the defender breaking his goal duck for the club with a goal back in August against Flint Town United.
Emberton spoke of the move from Holywell.
“I’d like to thank Mold Alex and the management for giving me an opportunity to play at a well nown club with a lot of history. I’m really looking forward to playing wth a great bunch of lads and hopefully to contribute to an excellent squad.”
Rhys Cooper has mostly been playing for the the Denbigh Town reservesnthis season although he was on the score sheet back in August for Denbigh in their 6-2 win over Caernarfon. He has had previous experience at Welsh Premier League sides The New Saints and Airbus UK Broughton.
Cooper also commented on his arrival at Mold, expressing his delight as a local boy.
“I’m really happy to have signed for Mold, being a local lad, I know how big the club is and when offered the chance to sign I couldn’t say no. I’m looking forward to the second of the season and progressing on with Mold Alex.”
The joint managerialship of Neil Wynne and Michael Cunningham identified the pair as signings as they consolidate their place in the Huws Gray Alliance, currently sitting in mid table.
Speaking to the official Mold Alexandra website, Neil Wynne spoke of his delight of capturing the two.
“It’s great that they are both local lads who know the proud history of the club and want to help the club achieve future success. Mike and I are looking forward to seeing them in a Mold shirt.”
The pair could make their debut on Saturday against Penrhyncoch.
