Llanelli Town land former Swan Loveridge

Former Swansea City and MK Dons forward James Loveridge has joined Llanelli Town, after departing Port Talbot Town this summer.

The youngster is a product of the Swansea City youth academy system, and despite never making a first team apoaearnce has played for MK Dons and Newport County in the Football League.

The winger-come-striker featured for the Steelmen in the Welsh Premier League last year, however he left the club after their relegation from the top flight.

Having seemingly been without a club since then, the 22 year-old has linked up with Llanelli Town.

The Reds have a top of the table clash against AFC Porth, with the club top of Welsh League Division Two. However, Porth are able to catch the former Welsh Premier League winners if they win their games in hand.

With Lee Trundle and Jordan Follows already part of the setup at Stebonheath, Andy Hill is forming a formidable side as he tries to bring Welsh Premier League football to the club.

Loveridge goes straight into the squad for the game.
