One Williams in, one Williams out at Port
Porthmadog have announced the departure of Julian Williams, who has left for Colwyn Bay.
Williams made headlines for when he scored a dramatic late winner for Porthmadog at Ruthin this season.
He joined Porthmadog in August 2016 after spending a season at the club on loan from Welsh Premier League outfit Rhyl FC. Williams has made 17 appearances and nine goals.
Williams leaves Porthmadog for Northern Premier First Division North side Colwyn Bay, who are currently 10th but eyeing a place in the promotion play offs.
Replacing Julian Williams is Meilier Williams, who joins Porthmadog from Penrhyndeudraeth of the Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One, where he was top scorer with 64 goals in 50 appearances.
He returns to Porthmadog for the second time in his career, and was involved in their narrow 1-0 victory over Mold Alex on the weekend.
