3 Battle for Title in Spar 1

Last years relegation hasn’t bothered Rhayader Town as they currently sit top of the tree in Spar MidWales League Division 1. New signings have seen them prevail this season, however their pursuit for the title won’t be an easy one.

On their tails, with a game in hand and just three points behind, sit Berriew. They’ve had a brilliant season, with the club already amassing a +52 goal difference.

Currently sitting in third place are Carno, they might be 11 points behind the leaders, with three games in hand, but they have a shot at the title this year provided they can put a consistent run of form together and if other results go their way.

Rhayader have an away trip to Machynlleth, Berriew face Llanidloes Town away from home and Carno host Radnor Valley this weekend.
Both Berriew and Carno will be hoping for an Machynlleth win to see them close the gap on Rhayader.
