Hotshot Vardon returns to Division Three with Treharris
Treharris Athletic have announced the signing of experienced striker Chris Vardon from Welsh Division Two outfit AFC Llwydcoed.
The move brings an end to a fourth spell at Coed for the 30-year old, whose goalscoring exploits have earned him a reputation for being one of the Welsh League’s most prolific forwards.
As well as helping Coed to the Division Three title in 2009, Vardon has championship medals from Division One and Two with Neath and Ton Pentre respectively, and has also been a part of three other successful promotion campaigns.
We would like to welcome @Vardon10 to the club.

He joined Pontypridd Town in the summer of 2014, before eventually returning to Coed the following February.
Vardon’s arrival comes at a good time for Division Three side Treharris, who are buoyed by a run of four straight home wins, and will be hoping to build on their recent good form to boost their faint hopes of a promotion challenge.
Commenting on his arrival, Vardon said: “I’m really looking forward to it. Treharris have plans to move to a new ground next season and are a good young team.”
