Edwards recalled by Bangor
Sion Edwards has been dramatically recalled by Bangor City after just three games with loan club Rhyl FC.
Edwards is a fan favourite at Bangor, but struggled to find game time in Phase One leading to a loan move to the Lilywhites in January.
However, he has now been brought back to Bangor after three appearances in three for Rhyl due to a number of key absences in the City squad.
The club are without captain Gary Roberts who is serving a six match suspension, with midfielder Laurence Wilson ruled out for three weeks due to injury.
Edwards has been put straight into the first team for tomorrow’s league clash with Connah’s Quay, and may even feature at some point during the game.
Bangor kick off against Connah’s Quay at the Bangor University stadium at 7:45pm on Friday evening.
