Llanelli complete swoop for March

Welsh League Division Two leaders Llanelli have confirmed the signing of former Swansea City midfielder Kurtis March.

March arrives at Stebo from Welsh Premier League outfit Aberystwyth Town, where he bagged three goals in 24 appearances this season.

With the club already boasting the likes of former Swans striker Lee Trundle, the capture of the 23-year-old will be seen as another coup for Llanelli.

After coming through the ranks of Swansea’s youth set-up, March found first-team opportunities limited at the Liberty Stadium, eventually signing for Port Talbot Town in the summer of 2015.

The ex-Wales Under-19 international made 30 appearances at Victoria Road, before moving on to Aber a year later.

Now he looks set to play a part in Llanelli’s charge for promotion.

Llanelli are currently six points clear of second-placed Briton Ferry and also have the luxury of two games in hand at the top of Division Two, making them red hot favourites to lift the title.

March made his debut in Llanelli’s 4-0 win over Aberbargoed Buds last Saturday.
