AFC Porth have announced the signings of Callum Smith and Chris Biggs, as they aim to boost their hopes of promotion from Welsh League Division Two.
Striker Smith joins from rock bottom Newport City, having previously risen up the ranks at Caerau Ely, and has been one of the few bright spots for City, netting both goals in their 2-1 victory over Abergavenny Town in February – their last league win.

Meanwhile, Biggs joins from South Wales Alliance Premier Division outfit Cardiff Corries, and could make his Welsh League debut this weekend, as Porth host rivals Aberdare Town in a crunch clash in the battle for promotion.
Porth currently sit fourth in Division Two, five points behind third-placed Pontypridd Town, although they do have the luxury of three games in hand on the Dragons.
