Taffs Well secure South Wales giants for pre-season friendly 

Welsh League Division One side Taffs Well have secured a massive pre-season fixture with Championship side Cardiff City. 

As teams sort out their pre-season schedules before they set off on their holidays, the committee and management at Taffs Well have persuaded Cardiff City to travel to Rhiw Dda’r in mid July. 

The game is massive for Taffs Well and has been chosen to make awareness of Cancer Research Wales. 

Such a friendly could attract a bumper crowd to Taffs Well, making it easy for valleys Cardiff fans to attend as well as those who live relatively close to the city

It expected that the Bluebirds will bring their first team squad to the match, as Neil Warnock meets the locals of Taffs Well. 

City fans may see a familiar face in Taffs Well defender Tom Burridge who spent time at Cardiff City as a youngster.
