Llandudno Junction accept promotion to Cymru Alliance
Second placed Llandudno Junction have accepted promotion to the Huws Gray Alliance following Glantraeth’s passing of promotion this evening.
Junction who passed the inspection of meeting the criteria of promotion to the Huws Gray Alliance, finished 2nd in the Welsh Alliance League Division One on goals scored, ahead of Llangefni Town will play second tier football next season.
The win against Llanrug United was the all important victory, that secured 2nd spot in a narrowly contested league up to 2nd spot, finishing 2nd for the third consecutive season now, but instead they will receive a reward in promotion.
Denley Smith, former Junction player and first team boss revealed to the Llandudno fans that the club had accepted promotion on Facebook, much to the delight of the supporters.

On their way to achieving promotion, Junction finished the season on a high when manager Iain Bennett picked up the Lock Star Welsh Alliance Manager of the Month award.
