Rhyl’s Belle Vue will host Bala Town’s Europa League qualifier next month it has been confirmed.
Bala Town confirmed on their website that Rhyl will host the second Europa League qualifier in the space of 12 months after playing hosts to the Lakesiders 2-0 defeat to Swedish side AIK Solna last year.
That match attracted 887 fans to North Wales for that match and helped grow a bond between the two clubs.
Colin Caton’s men last played in Rhyl when they beat Cymru Alliance side Caernarfon Town in the Welsh Cup semi-final, which they were 2-1 victors which put them on their way to Welsh Cup glory.
Bala who finished third in the league but won the Welsh Cup, could play Scottish giants Rangers or current Irish league leaders Cork City in the draw, which will take place on the 19th June.
