Former Bristol City striker Bishop-Wisdom joins Swansea University

Swansea born forward Marley Bishop-Wisdom has joined Division Three new boys Swansea University along with a majority of the promotion-winning squad re-signing.

The 20 year-old who is currently studying Economics has previously had experience in the Welsh Premier League, as well as featuring for the youth teams of Bristol City.

The club announced the news on their social media platforms on Thursday morning.

Wisdom who can operate both as a striker and as a winger was part of Cardiff City’s youth-academy, before making a move across the bridge to join Severnside rivals Bristol City.

In January of last year, Marley made a loan move to Welsh Premier League side Port Talbot Town, where he scored two goals in six Premier League appearances.

He has also represented his country at Wales U17 level, adding international pedigree to the young Swans side.

A player who will be playing alongside Bishop-Wisdom is captain Adam Orme who has had experience for Division One side Goytre United. Orme recently committed himself to the West Wales Cup winners, alongside Michael Davis and Nick Hyden.

Those three, along with a 36 other players have signed up to the squad, committing to both the Welsh League fixtures and the BUCS University fixtures.
