Bala Town have re-signed experienced Welsh Premier League veteran Lee Hunt as they bolster their impressive front-line.
The 36 year-old is currently third in the Welsh Premier League’s all-time-goal scorers charts has returned to Maes Tegid.
Bala Town announced the news on their official website this afternoon,
Welsh-Premier.com, a Welsh Premier League football blog said that there was interested in Hunt over the summer and that he spoke to several clubs during his short time away with the Lakesiders.
He was absent in Bala Town’s Europa League qualifiers as they lost to former Swiss-Super League side FC Vaduz with a 5-1 aggregate score-line.
But now Hunt will return to Welsh Premier League action as he rejoins the Lakesiders to add to his long-outstanding contribution to the Welsh game.
His two goals helped Bala Town reach the JD Welsh Cup final, after being named player of round at the semi-final stage.
As well as his contribution in the Cup last season, he’s scored an impressive 89 goals in his two spells in the Gwynedd and will begin his sixth season at Maes Tegid.
Colin Caton will now be able to choose from a plethora of attacking options, with plenty of Welsh Premier League experience in Chris Venables, Mike Hayes, Ian Sheridan and Les Davies. Bala have also signed Andrai Jones and Glenn Rule this summer.
