Cefn Druids take highly-rated New Saints starlet Ryan Pryce on temporary loan
The Cefn Druids have moved to sign The New Saints right-back Ryan Pryce on a temporary loan as they add a reinforcement to their defensive back-line.
The 20 year-old will remain at The Rock with his new side up until the end of Phase One and will is only set to miss one game after the New Saints and Druids had already met in the previous week.
Pryce is a New Saints academy product and spent time on trial at English Championship side Middlesbrough during their time in the Premier League, as they ran the rule over the young defender, as well as interest from Stoke City.
He joins recent recruits Arek Pisorski and Alec Mudimu at the Rock as the Druids look to consolidate their place in the Welsh Premier League as they search for their second league win of the season after overcoming Aberystwyth Town.
Speaking to CefnDruidsAFC.co.uk, Cefn Druids chairman John Hughes spoke of his deight in securing the loan signing of Pryce, highlighting his ability to defend and go forward.
“We’re really pleased to welcome Ryan to The Rock, he will be a great new addition to the squad and will hopefully give us a new dimension because of his attacking qualities coming out of defence. We know fans will look forward to seeing his debut and i’m sure will provide a warm Druids welcome.”
