West of St Julians have completed the signing of former Bath City and Newport County defender Darren Jones.
It’s the second marquee signing in the space of a year after the seventh tier side recruited experienced Welsh Premier League defender Cortez Belle to the club.
Jones, who retired from professional football back in May following his departure from hometown team Newport County is now making his move into the amateur football scene.
Most recently, the former Bristol City defender had moved to Vanarama National League South side Bath City where he was named captain. He played a number of times, before departing them earlier this month.
