Caernarfon Town have appointed interim boss Sean Eardley as their new first team manager, following the departure of Iwan Williams to Llandudno.
Eardley who has only been at the club since the summer afer leaving Llandudno, became Assistant Manager to Iwan Williams, but now he’s been promoted to the Cofis hot seat.
During his time at a number two at Llandudno, he helped the side win promotion to the Welsh Premier League, as well as reaching the UEFA Europa League, after an impressive third placed finish in their first season.
He takes over the Canaries as they sit top of the Cymru Alliance, as well as being in the Third Round of the JD Welsh Cup, as they host Barry Town United in early December.
Eardley will be assisted by Richard Davies, who was already on the coaching staff. As part of the appointment, Mike Innes has joined Eardley on the coaching staff at the Oval.
“I am thrilled and buzzing for the challenge ahead. Been a difficult 48 hours phone has been red hot but really looking forward to the challenge. said Eardley when speaking to the North Wales Chronicle
“I am in the hot seat now and the fans have been different class since I have come in, thankfully I am staying on and I owe them a lot of gratitude.”
He will take charge of his first game this coming Saturday as his Cofis side travel to the Airfield for a top of the table clash with Cymru Alliance title rivals Airbus UK Broughton.
