RECAP: Cardiff Metropolitan University vs Cefn Druids – Welsh Premier League

Cardiff Metropolitan University look to continue their good home form as they take on the Cefn Druids at Cyncoed Campus. The two sides met on the opening day of the season, with the Students running out 3-0 winners with two goals from Chris Baker and the other from Eliot Evans.

The Archers are on a good run of form, their away defeat to TNS aside, they’ve won 8 of their last 9 games in all competitions. The Druids form has been patchy of late, and this is reflected in their league form, where they’ve won 5, drawn 4 and lost 3. The Druids will be hoping that they can become the first away team to win at Cyncoed Campus this season.

Met will once again be able to call upon the services of in-form winger Eliot Evans, who has eight goals in the league this season, and nine in all competitions. Striker Adam Roscrow will be looking to add his league tally of eight league goals, September’s player of the month has made an impressive start to the season.
