Welsh language channel S4C has launched a new football programme on its channel for young football fans in Wales.
It is the second show to be launched this week, following the expansion of Welsh Premier League highlights shows Sgorio, with the introduction of Mwy o Sgorio.
The show which will be presented by former Wales international and current Sgorio pundit Owain Tudor-Jones, as well as presenter Heled Anna.
“The series shows football from all angles and it’s a lot of fun. I love everything about football and there’s something for everyone on Cic.” said the former Wales international midfielder.
Presenter Heled Anna who appears regularly on the show Tag spoke of what you can come to expect from the show.
“There’s plenty of other items like fashion, gadgets, sketches and a lot of secrets and gossip from the Wales camp! One of the best filming days we had was playing Zorb Football! Owain didn’t hold back and I hate losing so it was a pretty tense battle.”
Wales men’s stars Chris Gunter, David Edwards, U21 international Gethin Jones, Hal Robson-Kanu and Joe Allen will all appear on the show. Angharad James and Natasha Harding who recently had success with wins over Kazakhstan and Bosnia & Herzegovina will also be part of Cic.
The first episode will air tomorrow evening at 17:05 and has features from different football activities like Foot Golf, Handball, Foot Darts, Paralympic sport Goalball, and Zorb Football.
Boom Plant, a production company based in Penarth is responsible for the show and has worked closely with the Football Association of Wales to produce the show. The company has worked on other projects with the BBC, ITV and S4C.
