Welsh Football League club STM Sports have today confirmed that they have parted company with First Team Manager, Gareth Morgan.
Morgan who joined STM Sports back in May after departing Division Two club AFC Porth following a fifth-place finish with the Rhondda club. He replaced Nathan Cadette who stood down due to work commitments after leading the club to promotion from Division Three last season.
His last involvement with STM Sports was a 1-0 defeat to Trefelin Boys & Girls Club in the Welsh Football League Cup Quarter-Finals. He won his last league match 3-0 against Garden Village who are just a point behind STM with the same amount of games played.
STM Sports sit third in Division Two of the Welsh Football League, having played thirteen games, with eight wins, four draws and one defeat. The club has scored the most goals in the division, with 51 goals scored and are joint-second in the least goals conceded in the division.
In cup competitions, they reached Round Two of both the FAW Trophy and JD Welsh Cup, where they were knocked out by South Wales Alliance Premier Division side Penydarren Boys & Girls Club on two occasions.
STM Sports were contacted and confirmed that Gareth Morgan and his management team of player-assistant manager Dominic Dwyer and coach Rhodri Morgan are no longer with the club.
The club will release no further statement at this moment in time.
