The New Saints have added Estonian striker Kevin Kauber and Irish striker Dean Ebbe, as they make their first movements in the January transfer window.
Kauber joins from Latvian side FK Jelgava, whilst Ebbe joins from Bluebell United who play in the Leinster Senior League Senior Division. Both strikers are under the age of twenty-three and are eligible to play in tomorrow’s Cup final with Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Ebbe had previously played for Scottish Premier League side Inverness Caledonian Thistle. He made four appearances during his time at Caledonian Stadium before they were relegated to the Championship. He made his last appearance for Bluebell last week as he scored in their 5-1 victory over Liffey Wanderers.
Kauber received an international call-up to his senior team back in June of 2016 but failed to make an appearance. The 22-year-old who stands at 5 ft 9 inches, started his footballing career with defunct side Puuma, scoring 9 goals in 33 appearances.
His best run of form was when he played for Åbo IFK, where he scored 12 goals in 28 appearances for the Finnish side. He has since moved to Latvian side Jelgava, where he has scored six league goals in 42 appearances, with a loan spell at Levadia back in 2016.
Ebbe will wear the number 17 shirt for The New Saints, whilst Kauber will wear the 27 shirt.
The pair sign with the news that Welsh Premier League top goalscorer Greg Draper could be out for two weeks with an ankle injury after picking it up in their final game of Phase One, where they saw off the challenge of Bangor City.
