Bala Town welcome back Welsh Cup winner Kieran Smith

Bala Town have confirmed that forward Kieran Smith has returned to Maes Tegid, following a spell in New Zealand.

Smith left the club to join Tasman United, after scoring the winning goal in Bala’s Welsh Cup final win over The New Saints.

During his time there he played seven times, scoring twice. He is expected to fly to the UK this week. However, he will have to wait to make his second debut until the start of Phase Two, after Bala we’re knocked out of the previous round in the Welsh Cup.

He becomes the second player to return after Rob Pearson arrived back from New Zealand, just like Smith.

Kieran will give us much needed fire power and competition for places with us only having three forwards in the form of Mike Hayes, Les Davies and Ian Sheridan.” said Colin Caton who was speaking to BalaTownFC.co.uk

“His energy and workrate will give us a lot of options.”
