LIVE: Barry Town United seeking positive end to season against relegated Carmarthen Town ahead of European play-off semi-final

JD Welsh Premier League

Barry Town United will be looking to go 10 games unbeaten in Phase Two when hosting relegated Carmarthen Town in the final game before the European play-offs take place.

The Linnets have been sensational in the second-half of the campaign and are yet to taste defeat heading into the final game of the season. Barry have won seven and drawn two in what has been a phenomenal Phase Two for Gavin Chesterfield’s side.

Carmarthen Town, however, have struggled in Phase Two and have been relegated following a poor campaign. They will be looking to put some smiles back on their fans faces with a win over a Barry side who have already secured a playoff berth, though.

The last time these sides met, Barry came out on top, winning 1-0 in what was a cagey fought encounter at Richmond Park and this one could well turn out to be another tight affair in the Vale of Glamorgan.
