The New Saints have made their third signing in as many days, with the arrival of Staines Town defender Joash Nembhard.
Nembhard’s arrival coincides with the defensive departures of trio Connell Rawlinson, Steve Saunders and Ryan Pryce who all left Park Hall after the expiration of their contracts.
The youngster has had experience playing for sides such as Chesham United, Hendon, Sun Sports and Winsdor. He also has experience of representing the Hertfordshire FA U18, helping them reach the FA County Youth Cup Quarter-Finals.
“I’m very pleased to sign for TNS and excited for what the future holds for me,” said a delighted Nembhard.
I’m looking forward to being involved in European ties and being a part of the ongoing silverware collection that the club seems to be taking part in year after year, trophy after trophy.”
Nembhard joins Hamilton Academical midfielder Danny Redmond who joined last week whilst The New Saints confirmed the arrival of Accrington Stanley’s youth captain Josh Hmami.
The 20-year-old defender was playing in the seventh tier of English football for Staines before they were moved to the Evo-Stik League South. He can also operate as a left-sided midfielder.
“Joash is a player that will give us versatility, someone who’s strong defensively but very good on the ball. He had no hesitation in moving from London to play here full time.” said manager Scott Ruscoe on the arrival of the defender.
