Carmarthen Town snap sign up two Bluebirds and a Linnet

Carmarthen Town have bolstered their squad ahead of the new season with the signings of Haverfordwest County duo Greg Walters and Declan Carroll and Tyrrell Webbe from Barry Town United.

The Old Gold faithful are already well acquainted with Declan Carroll, who previously turned out for the Premier League outfit. The attacking midfielder will brings an attacking verve to the South Wales side, and will hope to be central to the link up between the midfield and the Carmarthen strikers, Lee Bowen and Liam Thomas.

The attacking midfielder joined Aberystwyth just last summer, but soon rejoined his former club Haverfordwest in Welsh League Division One, for whom he appeared thirteen times last season.

The attacking midfielder will be joined by centre midfielder Greg Walters. The midfielder appeared an impressive 31 times for the Pembrokeshire outfit, and his performances in the middle of the park have earned him a move to the top flight.

The duo is set to be joined at the club by forward Webbe, who rejoins the Old Gold for a second spell. The winger is a former Cardiff City apprentice but has turned out for Haverfordwest County, Caerau Ely and Carmarthen Town before joining Barry in the summer of 2016.

However, after struggling for game time last term, the Wideman will now turn out for The Old & Gold.

The trio are set to be three of a host of signings arriving at Richmond Park this summer, with the club’s twitter having announced that the management team are currently working on more arrivals ahead of the coming season.
