Welsh Premier League 2018/2019: Betting Odds

Last season’s Europa League play-off finalists Cardiff Metropolitan University have been installed as relegation favourites with bookmaker bet365.

Both bet365 and Marathon Bet are offering odds on the Welsh Premier League title race this season and OddsChecker has revealed how each bookmaker believes the league will pan out.

The New Saints who will be aiming for their eight consecutive title have been ranked as 1/6 and 1/7 with bet365 and Marathon Bet.

The two bookmakers believe that it will be Colin Caton’s Bala Town who will be the best bet to challenge Scott Ruscoe’s side this campaign.

Barry Town United, who are in their second season have been predicted to finish 4th, whilst new boys Llanelli are 66/1 to win the Welsh Premier League title, with the bookmakers believing Andy Hill’s men can qualify for a Europa League play-off spot.

Below the top six, after the inclusion of the Connah’s Quay Nomads and Llandudno, is a free for all in a mid table place. Aberystwyth Town, Caernarfon, Carmarthen Town, Cefn Druids and Newtown are all 100/1 to win the Welsh Premier League title, with mid-table mediocrity predicted for five teams.

Cardiff Metropolitan University have been ranked 150/1 for the Welsh Premier League title, making them favourites for relegation with bet365. MarathonBet however are offering 40/1, meaning they would be tied with Barry Town United on a 5th placed finish.

Cefn Druids were ranked favourites for relegation last season but achieved a fifth placed finish and won the Europa League play-off final against Cardiff Metropolitan University.
