LIVE: Llanelli host Welsh Cup winners Nomads in first top flight game in five years

Welsh Premier League football returns to Steboneath Park as Llanelli Town host the Connah’s Quay Nomads in Llanelli’s first top-flight game in five years.

The Reds finished 11th in their last Premier League campaign and were demoted to Division Three, but have won three promotions and one League Cup in five years to reach the Welsh Premier League again.

The Connah’s Quay Nomads have already got their season underway. After qualifying for the UEFA Europa League first round qualifying, they lost 5-1 on aggregate to Belarusian side Shaktyor Soligorsk.

The last time these two sides met, the Connah’s Quay Nomads came away from South Wales with there three points, with the winner coming from Mike Robinson.
